Home / bulletin board / reach marketing delivers new multi site digital platform for encyclis
Earlier this year, Reach Marketing successfully delivered a new web platform for Encyclis, one of the UK's leading energy-from-waste providers.
The project involved far more than the creation of a traditional corporate website. Instead, Encyclis required a flexible digital solution capable of communicating effectively with multiple stakeholder groups, from local communities and local authorities through to corporate partners, investors and industry professionals.
Our solution, launched in May, was a scalable digital platform designed to serve a diverse range of audiences while supporting the company's long-term growth ambitions.
As the energy-from-waste sector continues to evolve, organisations face increasing pressure to communicate clearly with a wide range of audiences, each with their own priorities, interests and information requirements.
For Encyclis, this meant balancing corporate communications and investor-facing content with community engagement, operational information and site-specific updates.
Reach worked closely with the Encyclis team to understand these varied requirements and develop a platform capable of delivering targeted content without compromising consistency or usability.
The result is a streamlined digital framework that enables users to quickly access the information most relevant to them, regardless of their relationship with the business.
At the heart of the project is a scalable web platform comprising a central corporate website supported by six dedicated facility-level websites.
The central site provides a professional and authoritative platform for communicating corporate strategy, business performance and organisational values, while the facility sites focus on local engagement and community communications.
This structure allows Encyclis to maintain a consistent brand identity while tailoring content to specific audiences and locations.
The platform has also been designed with future expansion in mind, providing the flexibility to accommodate new facilities, joint ventures and evolving business requirements as the organisation continues to grow.
A key objective of the project was ensuring that the platform remained easy to manage and maintain over the long term.
To achieve this, we developed the websites using a WordPress-based infrastructure, giving the Encyclis team the ability to update content efficiently without requiring specialist technical support for day-to-day changes.
The approach delivers several important benefits, including:
By placing content control directly in the hands of the client, the platform supports a more agile and responsive communications strategy.
Alongside the website development, we also created a series of animated explainer videos designed to simplify complex technical processes and make information more accessible to users.
Energy-from-waste is a sophisticated industry that can be difficult for non-specialist audiences to understand. The animations help bridge that gap by presenting key concepts in a clear, engaging and visually compelling format.
These assets play an important role in supporting transparency, improving public understanding and strengthening engagement with local communities and stakeholders.
The completed platform has been designed to reflect the core values that underpin the Encyclis business: innovation, accountability and environmental responsibility.
Through thoughtful user experience design, clear content structures and modern technical implementation, the new websites provide a digital presence that is both practical and representative of the organisation's ambitions.
Users are guided through intuitive journeys that make it easier to find relevant information, whether they are seeking operational details, community updates, investment information or corporate news.
The Encyclis project demonstrates the importance of aligning digital platforms with organisational objectives.
By combining strategic audience planning, bespoke design, scalable development and engaging content tools, Reach Marketing has delivered a solution that supports both immediate communications needs and future business growth.
As organisations increasingly need to communicate with multiple stakeholder groups across a range of channels, projects like this highlight the value of creating digital platforms that are flexible, accessible and built for the future.
The new Encyclis platform provides exactly that: a fast, future-ready digital presence designed to inform, engage and support every audience it serves.
