New Economics Foundation - Transport for London
New Economics Foundation (NEF) is an independent think-and-do tank that inspires and demonstrates real economic well-being. They aim to improve quality of life by promoting innovative solutions that challenge mainstream thinking on economic, environment and social issues. They put people and the planet first.
They work in all sections of society; civil, government, academia, business and with individuals to create greater understanding to formulate strategies for change.
Having worked for NEF for many years one of the more recent areas we have helped them with is in encouraging debate by creating the tools that help groups of people to develop ideas and express their views. Issues such as transport, the ethics of stem cell research, climate change and other subjects that could have a profound effect on society.
In addition to a selection of information literature we have produced a series of boxed games made up of prompt cards, questions, timing plans and action sheets. Though there is no winner or losers. The game is stimulating and opens up the group bringing out innovative thinking and better understanding of the given subject.
NEF is an independent charity, supported by donations. NEF's influence and reputation continues to grow and we are pleased to be contributing towards it.
