Laughing Fit-DVD & Education Pack
We have used comedy and animation to encourage children to eat healthily, in a healthy living animation project entitled Laughing Fit. It is part of a longer term project called Doctor, Doctor!”. This uses a variety of projects to raise the profile of arts & health and is sponsored by UNISON and supported by Arts Council England, Arts & Business and Eastern Leicester PCT.
Hot on the heels of the success of Laughing Fit, an arts & healthy living event which was part of Leicester Comedy Festival 2006, the DVD & Education Pack made pupils sit up and listen to important messages of healthy eating.
The Education Pack which accompanies the DVD contains a range of exercises and examples which will allow teachers to expand on the messages contained in the DVD.
