Environ - Sustainable Agenda
In 1998, Nelson Mandela held up the material produced by Reach for Environ in front of the leaders of the Commonwealth and Her Majesty the Queen at the Edinburgh Commonwealth Heads of State Conference, and announced that ‘this was the true agenda for the world’.
His vision helped Reach to recognise that climate change, the environment and sustainability were also part of their agenda.
Environ started as a local enterprise recycling paper. Having grown considerably they are now regarded as a benchmark in sustainability issues and are part of the national organisation Groundwork Trusts.
