Leicester City Council - Climate Change
Climate change can’t be ignored. Leicester City Council wanted to encourage concerted, positive action to reduce carbon emissions. They commissioned Reach to produce an overarching brand that both unified all their related initiatives and challenged people to take responsibility for effecting change.
‘Climate change – what’s your plan?’ now demands a response from home owners, local businesses, utility companies and transport providers.
A key initiative sought to help small businesses develop an action plan to reduce carbon emissions. Reach designed a step by step guide that made this process easy and emphasized the savings to the business.
An accompanying CD provided tools to help businesses create information pieces and keep a detailed record of the effect of measures taken.
Such was the success of the guide that an online version is currently being developed.
