Reach Time Lapse movie makes it onto the BBC

As part of the marketing of the ProLogis Bradford Development, Reach Marketing Communications recommended that a time-lapse camera be installed to capture the build programme. Our client ProLogis had secured the contract to develop and build the largest building of its type being built in the UK at the time a 1.1 million square feet warehouse in Bradford.

'Having been involved in the communications exercise to gain planning for the scheme, it was a fitting end to our involvement with the development to be able to get the work aired on the BBC', said Asgoo Pirbhai of Reach Marketing.

The camera which was mounted on a pole and continuously connected to the internet took pictures of the build process at 15 minute intervals over 6 months and was of use to the occupier which was Marks and Spencer, the developer ProLogis and the construction company Winvic. The images were available to see instantly they were taken using web technolgy applied by Reach Digital, a division of Reach Marketing.

Sir Stuart Rose, Chairman of Marks and Spencer, features in the news piece, discussing Bradford, the building and the boost it will bring to the local economy.

The BBC requested use of the timelapse for their Look North regional news programme that was broadcast on the 20th July 2010.
